Dangote Remains Africa Richest, Adenuga Makes Forbes Richest Persons List
Founder and Chairman Dangote Cement, Aliko Dangote, has retained his position as the richest person in Africa with a net worth of $12.5b on the Forbes magazine rich list.
Aliko, who has kept the position he has occupied for nine years now, owns 85% of publicly-traded Dangote Cement which produces 45.6 million metric tons annually and has operations in 10 countries across Africa.
Dangote Cement remains Africa’s largest cement production company.
