Excitement as Senator Abba Moro celebrates Easter with Hon. Hassan Saleh, graces constituents' weddings By Onjefu Ajeibi

There was excitement in Otukpa, in Ogbadibo LGA on Monday, April 01, 2024 when the senator representing Benue South Senatorial District and the Senate Minority Leader, Comrade Abba Patrick Moro PhD, and his entourage stormed the Efugo-Otukpa residence of former Member of the House of Representatives representing Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Honourable Hassan Sale to celebrate Easter Monday together.

Honourable Hassan was thankful to the senator for the visit, stating that it was a mark of peace and unity being craved for amongst politicians and in PDP. He said peace was amongst members to enable them remain focused in the struggle to expand their base and bring more members to the umbrella. 

Senator Moro described Hon. Saleh as a worthy partner. He stressed the need for all differences to be buried for their party and communities to experience growth. He enjoined politicians and their supporters to embrace peace and eschew violence, stating that a follow-up meeting would soon be called to further strengthen their unity. He announced that Honourable Saleh had given him his full support, he sought the support of all to enable him attract more developmental projects to Benue South.

Earlier, the Senate Minority Leader took time out to celebrate with some constituents who walked down the aisles. It has become synonymous with the senator to find out time to celebrate with his people when they celebrate.

At St. Michael Catholic Church, Eke-Ajide in Edumoga-Ugbokolo, in Okpokwu LGA, the Senator Moro was on hand to witness the wedding of Chris and Gloria, while at St Parish Cleavers, in Olanyega, also in Okpokwu LGA, it was the wedding of Martha Abba and Anthony Ejembi.

Senator Moro congratulated the two couples. He said it was a thing of joy for him to always be with his people to celebrate with them, promising that he would continue to that for his people. He prayed God to bless the couples with the fruits of the womb and other marital blessings. He charged them to tolerate and love eachother, support one another to achieve individual and collective goals and never give rooms for third parties in their homes.

The visibly excited couples profusely thanked Senator Moro for the honour to attend their weddings despite his tight schedules. They said his presence was a huge encouragement and moral booster for them, and prayed God to protect and keep uplifting him in all his endeavors.

Senator Moro and his entourage also attended the event organized by the Member representing Adoka/Ugboju State Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Michael Audu for students in his constituency.
Hon. Audu thanked the Senator for believing in him and finding time to attend the event.

Senator Moro commended Hon. Audu for his visible efforts to give hope to his constituents. He called on other elected officials to emulate Hon. Audu's noble acts.
